Group Home Program
The Arkk Group LLC will offer services to:
Males and females 18 years of age and above, who have been diagnosed with a primary intellectual disability (ID).
Additionally individuals with a secondary diagnosis of any of the following:

Bi-polar disorder

Schizophrenia
-
Anxiety disorder
-
Obsessive-compulsive disorder

Individuals who are ambulatory/non-ambulatory or, walk with a cane, walker and leg braces, or need support with mobility.

Individuals who are visually impaired or hearing impaired.

Individual who are in need of skill nursing care or have medical needs i.e., breathing tube, feeding tube-(G-Tube).

Individuals who have Pica disorder.

Individuals who have Autism as a secondary diagnosis.

Individuals who are sexual offenders (If the sexual offense did not occur within one year prior to admission or the sexual offense is not pedophilia or rape).

Individuals receiving services form The Arkk Group, LLC must meet the following criteria for admission:

An Individual must have a primary diagnosis of Intellectual disability and have other documented needs in two or more adaptive skill areas.

An individual must meet the Level of Functioning eligibility criteria in two or more of the following areas: health and safety, communication, task learning, personal self-care, mobility, behavior management or other areas of adaptive community living skills.

An individual must have a physical exam within 30 days of admission with a current tuberculosis test and be free from communicable diseases.

An individual must be capable of self-administrating and / or be agreeable in allowing support with medication administration of all commonly prescribed medications, as defined by Virginia Code Sections 54-525.2 and 54-524.65.

An individual must be at least 18 years of age.

An individual does not have and does not require the use of a Behavior Management Plan that does not compromise their dignity or respect of person nor does it violate their basic human rights.

Individual does not require a behavioral plan using interventions such as seclusion, intrusive /aversive therapy, mechanical restraints or that jeopardizes the health, safety, or welfare of the individual.
